To play YouTube episodes in Vik, yes. Vik plays a YouTube episode only when YouTube would play it to your account without ads, and that takes Premium. Without it, Vik tells you so and plays the show's podcast feed instead, when it has one. Podcast feeds and Patreon don't need Premium.

To list the podcasts you follow on YouTube Music, play them on your Premium account, and keep your place in sync with YouTube. The sign-in happens on Google's own page, and the session stays on your phone. Vik never sees your password and has no server to send anything to.

Sign out any time in Settings › Sources › YouTube Music.

Sign in to Patreon in Settings › Sources › Patreon. Vik finds the podcast feeds of the creators you support and adds them to your library with a lock. Each private feed link belongs to you alone, so it stays on your phone and isn't shown in full anywhere in the app.

Yes. Paste the feed's link into Search, or use Add a Show at the top of Search. Private feeds from other membership services work the same way.

For YouTube episodes, Vik writes your place to your YouTube account as you listen, the same way YouTube's own app does. YouTube on your TV, browser or another phone resumes there. When you open Vik again, it reads your account first, so a place you reached elsewhere wins over an older one in Vik.

With Vik Plus, yes. Vik compares the two copies' audio on your phone and maps one onto the other, so a place in the ad-free cut becomes the same moment in the version with ads and in the YouTube video. Matching runs on Wi-Fi the first time you play or download a different cut, and takes a minute or two for a long episode.

Without Plus, each copy keeps its own place.

One place per episode across every copy and cut, Skip Silences and Clear Voices, and extra icons and themes. Everything else in Vik is free, and anything free today stays free.

Apple handles the subscription. To cancel, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Vik. On a new phone, tap Restore Purchases in Vik's Settings › Vik Plus.

Tap Try Again first. If it's a YouTube episode, check Settings › Sources › YouTube Music still says Premium is active. If it keeps failing, send us a diagnostics report (below).

Settings › Diagnostics › Share. You'll see the report before it goes anywhere, and you choose where it goes. It holds what Vik was doing and any errors; sign-in sessions, private feed links and stream addresses are left out.
